CREATIVE DEPARTMENT ASSISTANT

JOB SUMMARY

 

The purpose of the job is to provide:

  • Assistance in the creation of shows concepts, following the direction of the creative Management.

  • Conceptual and visual research.

  • Assist the Creative Coordinator/Producer/Manager in planning, coordinating and managing daily processes.

  • Rationalizations and analysis of the creative project.

  • Assistance in the research of the casting, talents, trends, illustration and video activities.

  • Archive all the researches at the end of the project.

  • Assistance on the successful execution of the show’s creative presentation, ensuring quality and value for both the client and BWS, productivity and effective execution by the team.

  • Follow up the creative weekly plan.

  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars

  • Keep accurate post meetings records.

  • To follow the departments logistics and procedures (travels, expenses, office needs etc)

 

Required Skills:

  • An interest in the arts and an enthusiasm for working in a socially engaged and culturally diverse environment.

  • A passion for the performing arts and an interest in a wide range of events is a must.

  • Ability to provide innovation and creativity to deadlines with due regard for best practice standards and efficiency.

  • Team player with the ability to work flexible working hours according to business needs, and able to remain calm/work under pressure.

  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and interpersonal skills

  • IT skills (OSX and Windows, Office Suite and Pages Suite are a must)

  • People oriented, inquiring & open minded

  • Excellent English and Italian, the knowledge of any other language will constitute a plus

  • Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable communicating with individuals at any levels

  • Ability to deal with confidential information in a professional manner.

  • You will be based in Milan with frequent travels abroad. Ability to travel with short notice is a must.

  • Ability to work outside normal business hours including nights, early mornings, weekends and public holiday.

  • Be able to work independently, communicate clearly and have good time management skills.

  • Have obsessive attention to detail.

  • A knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro is a plus.

  • Be able to work with a team of writers, account, managers and show designers to produce top-quality work that gets results. Be able to incorporate feedback from multiple sources.

  • Nice to have: any Kind of BA or Master related to the Creative field
