The iconic Albero della Vita (Tree of Life), conceived by Marco Balich and symbol of Milan Expo 2015 which drew over 15 million visitors, returns with new shows to light up yet again the Experience area that hosted the Universal Exhibition.
Every Saturday and Sunday will see the light and water shows of the Tree of Life return with new fountain day shows”every hour, from 14.30, with the musical accompaniment of four great Italian songs: Adriano Celentano’s “Azzurro”, Francesco Gabbani’s “Occidentali’s Karma”, Fiorella Mannoia’s “Quello che le donne non dicono” and Noemi’s “Sono solo parole”.
A new 9-minute show will then play at 21.30 and 22.30, with a dreamlike atmosphere, using stunning technological techniques, and a finale of pure emotion, closing with an original composition from Roberto Cacciapaglia.
The creative installation with its live show will tell the story of an idealised journey through a world full of colour. A rainbow, the symbol of peace, hope and social equality, will relive and reaffirm the message of Expo: to look forward with optimism to a future which holds greater respect for the planet and for all its myriad diversities.
The Tree of Life was created in 2015 from a concept of Marco Balich, Artistic Director of the Italian Pavilion, thanks to the support of Diana Bracco, Coldiretti, Pirelli, Orgoglio Brescia, Studio Giò Forma (Florian Boje, Cristiana Picco, Claudio Santucci), Koert Vermeulen and Marco Astarita, together with Balich Worldwide Shows. Today it returns to touch people’s hearts with its shows thanks to EXPerience, Arexpo and Regione Lombardia.
